上合示范区党工委副书记、管委会常务副主任李刚在致辞中表示，今年是中阿建交30周年，30年来，中阿关系保持健康稳定发展势头，双方在政治、经贸等领域开展高水平互利合作，多边领域合作取得丰硕成果。希望双方以中阿建交30周年为契机，以加强“跨里海国际运输通道”建设合作为良好开端，进一步密切经贸往来，在能源、农业、交通、物流、旅游、信息化建设等方面开展更多合作，助力中阿友好互利合作取得新成果。
阿塞拜疆共和国数字发展和交通部部长顾问、跨境货运协调理事会秘书长阿依达·巴达洛娃介绍了“跨里海运输走廊”货运情况和跨境货运协调理事会相关情况。他认为，上合示范区与阿塞拜疆在国际物流合作和国际经贸往来等方面有极大合作潜力，对未来合作前景充满信心。
阿塞拜疆海关监管和贸易流程便利化总局副局长萨梅特·加拉罗夫介绍了阿塞拜疆制定绿色通关通道、实现快检快放等相关情况。“我们将不断完善通关能力合作机制，为公铁联运海关手续给予协助。”萨梅特·加拉罗夫说。
上合示范区党工委委员、管委会副主任向志强表示，示范区将以此次视频会为契机，与阿塞拜疆进一步加强沟通交流，积极推动双方成立“跨里海运输走廊”工作小组，在拓展中欧班列南通道运量、加强运输和投资便利化合作等方面开展务实合作，不断增强班列运输能力，持续畅通国际物流大通道。
目前，上合示范区已常态化开行25条国际、国内班列，可通达上合组织及“一带一路”沿线20个国家49个城市。今年1—4月开行中欧班列286列，同比增加36.8%。目前，上合示范区至阿塞拜疆巴库的点对点班列和经巴库中转至土耳其伊兹米特和格鲁吉亚第比利斯的班列常态化运行，进一步畅通了中阿国际物流大通道
On the afternoon of the 4th, a video conference on thecooperation between and Azerbaijan on the Trans Li MaritimeTransport Corridor was held at the Shanghai Cooperation ServiceCenter. The conference exchanged views on jointly expanding the"Trans Li Maritime Transport Corridor" route, improving the levelof transportation facilitation, and cooperating with the FreeEconomic Zone of Alate, to promote the superposition of theadvantages of Azerbaijan's maritime transport resources and thelogistics development resources of the Shanghai CooperationDemonstration Zone, and to build an effective logistics platformfor the economic development of China and Azerbaijan.

In his speech, Li Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party WorkingCommittee and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committeeof the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone, stated that thisyear marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomaticties between China and Afghanistan. Over the past 30 years, ChinaArab relations have maintained a healthy and stable developmentmomentum, the two sides have conducted high-level mutuallybeneficial cooperation in political, economic and trade fields, andmultilateral cooperation has achieved fruitful results. It is hopedthat the two sides will take the 30th anniversary of theestablishment of diplomatic relations between China and Afghanistanas an opportunity, take strengthening cooperation in theconstruction of the "Trans-Caspian Sea International TransportCorridor" as a good start, further strengthen economic and tradeexchanges, carry out more cooperation in energy, agriculture,transportation, logistics, tourism, information construction, andother aspects, and help China Arab friendly and mutually beneficialcooperation achieve new results.
Aida Badalova, Adviser to the Minister of Digital Developmentand Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Secretary Generalof the Cross Border Freight Coordination Council, introduced thefreight situation of the "Trans Li Maritime Transport Corridor" andthe relevant situation of the Cross Border Freight CoordinationCouncil. He believes that the SCO Demonstration Zone has greatpotential for cooperation with Azerbaijan in internationallogistics cooperation and international economic and tradeexchanges, and is confident in the future cooperationprospects.
Samet Galarov, Deputy Director of the General Administration ofCustoms Supervision and Trade Process Facilitation in Azerbaijan,introduced the development of green customs clearance channels andthe implementation of rapid inspection and release in Azerbaijan."We will continue to improve the customs clearance capacitycooperation mechanism and provide assistance for customs proceduresfor rail and highway intermodal transportation," said SametGalarov.
Xiang Zhiqiang, member of the Party Working Committee and DeputyDirector of the Management Committee of the Shanghai CooperationDemonstration Zone, said that the demonstration zone would takethis video conference as an opportunity to further strengthencommunication and exchanges with Azerbaijan, actively promote theestablishment of a working group on the "Trans Li SeaTransportation Corridor" between the two sides, carry out practicalcooperation in expanding the traffic volume of the China EuropeEurope South Railway, strengthen cooperation in transportation andinvestment facilitation, continuously enhance the transportationcapacity of the trains, and continue to smooth the internationallogistics corridor.
At present, 25 international and domestic trains have beenregularly operated in the SCO Demonstration Zone, which can reach49 cities in 20 countries along the the Belt and Road. From Januaryto April this year, 286 China-Europe trains were launched, ayear-on-year increase of 36.8%. At present, the routine operationof point-to-point trains from the Shanghai CooperationDemonstration Zone to Baku, Azerbaijan, and the trains that transitthrough Baku to Izmit, Türkiye and Tbilisi, Georgia, has furtherunblocked the China Arab international logistics corridor.
This meeting was jointly hosted by the Foreign AffairsOffice and the Management Committee of the Shanghai CooperationDemonstration Zone, with the participation of units such as the Municipal Transportation Bureau, Customs, andrelevant enterprises. Many units and relevant enterprises from theArab side, such as the Ministry of Digital Development andTransportation of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Economy ofAzerbaijan, the National Customs Commission of Azerbaijan, theMunicipal Government of Ganja City, and the Alate Free EconomicZone, participated in the meeting online
